Job Opportunity - Medical Director, Correctional Health Services - Texas

Schedule: Permanent leadership position with standard administrative schedule
Highlights:
- Lead comprehensive medical operations for a large correctional healthcare program
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including behavioral health, primary care, and specialty services
- Work within a nationally recognized academic healthcare environment with access to professional development
- Provide clinical oversight for women's health and adult health programs using evidence-based protocols
- Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers, residents, and students in a teaching environment
- Shape high-quality, patient-centered care delivery for an underserved population
Requirements:
- Completion of ACGME or AMA approved residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in appropriate specialty
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in clinical medicine programs
- Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain within 180 days
- Strong leadership, communication, and physician collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and motivate medical teams
- Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare environments
- Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
- Experience in correctional health environment preferred
- Spanish proficiency preferred
- No visa sponsorship available
