Job Opportunity - Cardiac Electrophysiologist - Northern Arizona
Start Date: April 27, 2025
Location: Northern Arizona
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Flexible weekly assignments available from late April through December. Shifts run 7:00am-5:00pm with 1-hour lunch break. Weekly blocks scheduled throughout the year, including options around major holidays.
Highlights:
- Perform 4-6 electrophysiology cases per day, with 3-4 hospital consults daily
- Focus on cardiac ablations and heart rhythm disturbances in an adult patient population
- Utilize Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system with full autonomy in moderate sedation
- Work in both hospital-based Cath Lab and in-office clinic settings
- 268-bed facility using Cerner EMR with 4-hour remote orientation prior to start
- Ongoing contract opportunity with multiple week-long assignments available
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Active Arizona medical license or ability to obtain (proof of application required)
- DEA registration in Arizona
- ACLS certification current
- Minimum 1 year of experience with demonstrated proficiency in ablations
- Documentation of 100+ EP cases in the past 2 years, with emphasis on ablations
- Comfort performing moderate sedation independently and conducting TEEs
- Experience with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system required
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
