Job Opportunity - Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner - Colorado
Start Date: Not specified
Location: Colorado Springs region, Colorado
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time position with operating room coverage Monday through Friday, two full-day clinics weekly, rotating weekday and weekend call (1:4-5 rotation)

- Provide comprehensive cardiac surgery patient management including ICU, floor, and clinic settings
- Opportunity to assist in cardiac surgeries, perform endoscopic vein harvesting, and first assist as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals in a collegial environment
- Rotating call coverage with in-house support during evening and overnight hours
- Permanent, full-time placement with comprehensive benefits and continuing education support
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Nurse Practitioner Certification by ANCC or AANPCB
- Minimum 3 years cardiac or cardiovascular surgery experience with ICU patient management
- Experience with endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting preferred
- Unrestricted DEA license with full prescriptive authority
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Active Colorado state license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursable services
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days
- No current or prior sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
