Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts per week; Monday-Friday (6:45am-5:00pm), Saturday-Sunday (7:00am-7:00pm); Weekend call includes one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks; No weekday call
Highlights:
- Level 1 Trauma Center with high-acuity patient population in 28-operating-room facility with 641 beds
- Diverse case mix: approximately 100 cases per day including 45% general, 15% OB, 15% cardiac, 10% ortho, 5% thoracic/vascular
- 60/40 adult and pediatric split; patient population ranges from 2 years old to adults
- ACT model with 4:1 ratio; interdisciplinary support includes 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 RN, 17 Anesthesiologist MDs, and 40+ CRNAs
- Epic EMR with advanced technology including Glidescopes, Hemospheres, GE anesthesia machines, and Istats
- Out-of-OR procedures in GI, Cath lab, MRI, and IR locations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience practicing as a CRNA post-training
- Board Certified
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Active state license (credentialing timeframe: 4 months with active SC license; 5-6 months without SC license)
- Clean malpractice history required
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Skills required: delivery and management of general, MAC, and regional anesthesia; arterial/central line placement; ventilation management; evaluation and management of acute volume/blood pressure changes; ultrasound-guided nerve blocks
- Must reside more than 60 miles from facility
