Job Opportunity - Emergency Medicine Physician - Ohio
Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete (approximately 60+ days)
Location: Central Ohio region
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a); minimum commitment of 5+ shifts per month with ongoing availability of 12+ months. Availability for nights and weekends required.

- Annual ED volume of 24,500-25,500 visits; average daily census of 55-60 patients
- 17-bed emergency department with established transfer network to regional facilities
- Low transfer rate of approximately 5%
- EMR system: MediTech
- Long-term locum opportunity with consistent scheduling
- Credentialing timeline of approximately 60 days
Requirements:
- Active Ohio state license (IMLC accepted with proof of Letter of Qualification within 3 business days of acceptance)
- ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (required, no exceptions)
- Current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2+ years of recent emergency medicine experience
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Clean background check and self-query NPDB required at time of submission
- Malpractice coverage must be included in compensation arrangement
