Job Opportunity - Gastroenterology Physician - Kentucky

Start Date: ASAP, ongoing coverage

Location: Central Kentucky

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants

Schedule: 14 days per month (7 on/7 off rotation), 24-hour call coverage including inpatient rounding and procedures, approximately 6-8 hours per day in hospital

Highlights:

• Bread and butter inpatient GI with ED consultation and ERCP procedures
• Supportive team environment with 3 dedicated inpatient APPs assisting in endoscopy and on floors/ED
• Epic EMR system in place
• Manageable patient volume: 10-20 patients per day, approximately 10 admissions per night
• Structured 7 on/7 off rotation providing excellent work-life balance
• Ongoing coverage opportunity with defined dates through year-end

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• ERCP proficiency required
• Kentucky state medical license highly preferred; IMLC will be considered
• Active ACLS and DEA certifications
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
• Availability to start immediately and commitment to scheduled coverage dates
