Job Opportunity - Vascular Surgeon - Northwest Ohio
Start Date: Not specified
Location: Northwest Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: 2 clinic days and 3 procedural/surgical days per week; 10 night/weekend call shifts per month
Highlights:
- Lead the establishment and growth of a community-based vascular surgery program in partnership with a major academic medical center
- Perform diverse vascular procedures including open and endovascular approaches for aneurysmal disease, carotid disease, hemodialysis access, and limb salvage
- Schedule flexibility with predictable call coverage shared among vascular team members and academic support
- Opportunity for program leadership with planned expansion including additional surgeon recruitment and hybrid OR construction by 2027
- Clinical faculty appointment with comprehensive benefits including generous CME allowance, vacation time, and retirement plans
- Participate in education and training of medical students, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery (within 5 years of eligibility with plans to test)
- Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Clean malpractice and license history
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report required
