Job Opportunity - Oncology/Hematology Physician - Northern Oregon
Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
Location: Northern Oregon
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4-5 days per week, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with optional administrative time. Call coverage is 7 days per month including one weekend, in a 1:4 rotation.
Highlights:
- Outpatient focus in a freestanding cancer center with EPIC EMR
- Primarily solid tumor oncology (approximately 80%) with hematology consults (20%)
- Work alongside 3 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers in a collaborative team environment
- Patient volume of 10-15 per day in clinic; inpatient rounding limited to chemotherapy admissions
- Radiation oncology support available on-site
- Ongoing locum need due to physician retirement and relocation
Requirements:
- Board Certified in both Hematology and Oncology
- Active Oregon medical license (IMLC and Compact not accepted)
- DEA registration
- Clean background and malpractice history highly preferred
- CAQH login and password required at time of offer
- Self-query NPDB report required at time of presentation
- Credentialing timeframe: 6-8 weeks
