Job Opportunity - Medical Hematologist/Oncologist - Northern California

Start Date: March 2025 (multiple dates available through August 2025)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Flexible assignment dates available from March through August 2025. Hospital consults and call coverage required.

Highlights:

• Outpatient chemotherapy and infusion center setting with midlevel provider support
• Full-spectrum oncology and hematology case mix including all tumor types
• Daily patient volume of 15-20 patients
• EMR systems: iKnowMed for clinic and Cerner for infusion services
• Comprehensive support team including clinic RN, MAs, front office staff, and 10 infusion RNs
• Onsite physician oversight for all infusion treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusions, and more

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• Active California medical license
• Completed fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology
• Current DEA registration
• ACLS certification (PALS required if requesting pediatric or moderate sedation privileges)
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
• Must be currently practicing in the field
