Job Opportunity - Urologist - Washington State
Start Date: Various dates available beginning April 2025
Location: Washington State
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Clinic hours 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; call coverage includes nightly (5:00 PM - 8:00 AM) and 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM); minimum 5-6 days of call plus clinic per month; 1:6 call rotation
Highlights:
- General urology practice with broad case mix including cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, ESWL, and Botox injections
- Robotic surgical system available on-site for cases as needed
- Clinic volume of 20-25 patients per day; 20-30 surgeries per month
- Epic EMR system with strong support staff including 2 RNs, MA, surgery scheduler, and front office team
- Hospitalist team provides inpatient support; call consists of approximately 20% consults and 80% callback
- Minimum 3-month commitment required with ongoing availability preferred through February 2026
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Urology highly preferred; truly Board Eligible candidates (0-5 years post-residency) considered
- Active Washington state medical license highly preferred; IMLC with Letter of Qualification in hand at submission will be considered
- Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification required (candidates willing to obtain ACLS/BLS if selected may be considered)
- Clean malpractice history highly preferred
- Ability to cover approximately 80% of available dates with specific coverage dates and blackout periods clearly identified
